My friends and I arrived in Singapore at the crack of dawn on a Friday and headed straight to Ark Hostel where we stayed for three nights. I booked the accommodation via Booking.com which was quick and easy.
Ark Hostel had an exceptional rating, received good reviews, and was quick to respond to my questions. Plus, it's near Kallang MRT station and one train ride away from the airport. But if you are arriving past midnight like us, riding a cab is the most convenient way to go to the city.
We only slept for a few hours so we could make the most out of our day but that didn't deter our excitement for Universal Studios.
Universal Studios Singapore Overview
Universal Studios Singapore is open daily normally at 10AM - 7PM. Refer to the calendar for the operating hours.
The park closed at 6PM when we visited in August 2016. Although its area is much smaller than Hong Kong Disneyland, it would have been nice if it closes at a later time.

✈ Universal Studios Singapore can get crowded and queuing for the rides can take a couple of hours. The park is not that big so plan your visit in advance. Consider purchasing an Express Pass to skip the queue.✈ The first few rows at Wings of Time have the best views, but can also get you wet! ;)
